Marta Alonso 

Who is Marta Alonso?

Marta Alonso is the founder and the director of Circle line. She graduated 6 six years ago from the International University of Catalonia , with a double degree in journalism and audiovisual communication. She also received her master in Internet business from the higher institute of internet development. Marta was very interested in social media from the very start. So far she has had five years of experience with the digital world including the use of social media to help clients. In 2010, she founded her own company with the different offices around Spain. Here she was dedicated to specializing in community management and development of software for social media where she worked with clients including Fira de Barcelona and Spanair. In the latter part of 2013, she joined Edelman where she was the senior account manager and responsible for digital in Spain. The early months of 2013, she dedicated her time to working as a independent consultant focusing on digital projects with clients such as Vueling, FC Barcelona, and Sonar Music Festival.

In 2009, she helped the company Muuby which was the first social media agency in Spain. They specialized in two specific ideas in order to help their clients including service of community management and technology developing software.

Circle line is a digital storytelling agency which emphasizes on building creative narratives for brands. They work with Mahala and PlayGrounder .  They want to produce an effective and unique way to generate attention from audiences for a specific brand. some popular clients of them include sagrada Familia, Wallapop, HP Europe, Catalonia Goverment, Catalan Tourism Board, and Freixenet.

One thing she helped the creation of was the network Instagrammers which is an international network of users around Instagram. Marta along with her team, made one of the most used hashtags(# ), #instagrammers.  One specific project she worked with was the Vueling airline company. Which featured pictures of the different destinations Vueling’s airline went to. The brand wanted to find a creative and innovative way to celebrate a milestone in their company, as they served 50 million customers that year. Marta uses Instagram as the basis for where she collected pictures. The pictures were then mounted on  the plane and with the phrase Thank you in English and Spanish on the side. The pictures were also included on their website, where more consumers had availability to interact with the different destinations. See video below:
